Last Update of the Year
This is the last blog of the year. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and are looking forward to a new year. I just thought I would share with you some pictures from a couple of lovely weddings that we did in October.
The first one was Caroline’s wedding at Beechfield House, a lovely Georgian style country house just up the road from me in Beanacre. It has some beautiful grounds which made for lovely pictures with all the autumn colours. We were applying makeup only to Caroline, her two bridesmaids and her mum. It was a classic, fresh bridal look that just enhanced Caroline’s natural beauty. Her bridesmaids were in lilac and my colleague Caroline applied a subtle hint of lilac/purple to the eyes. The second October wedding was Flora’s. Flora was getting married at the Hare and Hounds, Tetbury which is situated just up the road from Westonbirt Arboretum. We did wedding hair and makeup for Flora and all her bridesmaids. This time we used more autumnal shades champagne, deep browns, coral cheeks and lips to tie in with Flora’s beautiful hair. The bridesmaids wore two different colours of navy and grey. So for the eyes we used subtle navy and silvery greys. The brief for the hair was a relaxed up do for everyone. Looking forward to next year
It has been a great year for me and I am looking forward to 2017. I already have bookings and I am looking forward to being a part of those weddings and lots more weddings. I have three great wedding fairs that I will be exhibiting at next year. The first being at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester on the 8th January 2017, the second at Westonbirt School on the 22nd January 2017. I will also be showcase my hair and makeup on the catwalk at Westonbirt School. Both of this wedding fairs are hosted by the Whitwed Directory. The last one booked so far is on the 29th January at MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel this is hosted by the The Wedding Emporium Fayres.
