News Update
Having just arrived back from a holiday in the lovely Brecon Beacons I thought I would give you a news update. I haven’t blogged for a month as have been very busy and away. But before I went away I had two great opportunities to work with another Makeup artist Holly Anderson member of the Whitewed directory of which I am a member too. I helped Holly with a wedding at the Hare and Hounds, Tetbury doing three bridesmaids makeup. Their dresses were a pale green so I tied the eyeshadow in with the dresses using a hint of olive and gold. I also joined Holly at Stanton House, Swindon for a wedding where I was required to do 3 bridesmaids hair and makeup. This time the dresses were a deep purple, so we used deep plums and bronzes for the eyeshadow. Their hair was a plaited half up half down style with little diamante’s, very pretty.
In between these weddings I was privileged to go to Widbrooke Grange at Bradford on Avon to apply makeup to another of my brides Anne Reeves. It was a beautiful day and Widbrooke Grange has a very rustic and informal feel about it. Anne’s wedding was to take place outside and it was the perfect setting. For Anne I also used plums and pinks which enhance Annes beautiful blue eyes.
This last weekend I attended a Whitwed Directory wedding fayre at the Neeld Hall, Chippenham and met some lovely future brides. I have a few more wedding fayres to attend this year.
I am very excited to be invited again by Irene Neumann of Neumann Graham Photographers to do an editorial photo shoot next week so will let you know more about that when it arrives.
