Mii and Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Products
This month I thought I would share some information about Mii and Charlotte Tilbury makeup products and why I like them.
Mii is a relative new brand now established for about 4 or 5 years. Gerrard International developed the makeup range by doing market research among people who used high end brands such as MAC, Bobbie Brown, Nars, Clinque etc and took what they liked and disliked about the ranges to come up with a range of very user friendly products, not only for individuals but also for makeup artists. Mii has a mixture of mineral and liquid foundations. I like it because it is very versatile, enabling the customer to use both on the skin at the same time. It is great for very sensitive skin and the mineral foundation Irresistible Face Base it good for post op scarring. All the foundation have an SPF 10 through to 25. There is a good range of eyeshadow shades both in block, cream pencils and mineral powder. The lipsticks are very moisturising so make the lips look smooth and glossy. However with current trends I have also branched out into the counters and I love Charlotte Tilbury products. I believe in using good quality products on my clients knowing that they won’t let me or my clients down. Charlotte Tilbury is also not tested on animals, Charlotte Tilbury herself is an amazing makeup artist and I am inspired by her, therefore her range is influenced by a makeup artist perspective.
There is a wide range of skin tones in her foundations which allows me to have the ability to do all skin colours. There are some beautiful colours in her lipstick range different to the Mii range of lipsticks. A lot of the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are matte great for weddings. Her eyeshadow palettes are easy to use and you can achieve day to evening looks with one 4 colour palette. I like the fact that there are a few sparkly eyeshadows, we need a bit of sparkly in our lives! Her online tutorial video’s and tips are very useful. She has her own skin care range I like her magic cream, it hydrates and changes the texture of the skin leaving it looking luminous and glowing it has an SPF of 15.
