Busy Bridal Season
Well it is all happening I have been so busy with bridal trials and weddings I haven’t be able to write my news. It has been a very exciting month for me and has been quite varied in my work.
I have had bridal hair and makeup trials with new hairstyles to master and different makeup looks to apply. My month started with bridal makeup for Beth’s wedding who wanted a very natural look. Her colour scheme was a beautiful pink purple with lots of sunflowers in the bridesmaids hair and all the bouquets and button holes. Beth sent me a couple of pictures, photographers were A & K Photography
I also did wedding makeup for Ellie who’s colour theme was navy and white so we bought a bit of navy into the makeup in the contour of the eye and eyeliner. Ellie’s Mum also had her makeup done and she wore black and white so I applied a natural look as Mum did not wear much makeup on a daily basis. She left me this lovely review and sent me some beautiful pictures.
Rachel did mine and my mums make up for my wedding on 12th May. She was very professional and friendly. The trial was great to get an idea of what I wanted my make up to be like on the day and Rachel gave enough time to change anything I was unsure about. I was so relaxed on the day because Rachel had done such a good job, and she made my Mum look fantastic too. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for make up for a wedding or special occasion. Thank you Rachel, you were brilliant 🙂
I also attended another wedding this time it was Claire’s. Her colour scheme was dove greys, blush pinks and creams. Claire wanted a classic natural bridal look. So we used a blush pink eyeshadow with dark browns in the sockets, a very natural shade of blush and lipstick. I have yet to receive any pictures but she sent me a lovely message saying:
Hi Rachel
Thank you so so much. I loved my makeup. I looked amazing! Total transformation. You worked miracles
Thank you.
Claire
In between the bridal hair and makeup trials and weddings, I also had the pleasure of doing hair and makeup for Molly’s prom and some prom makeup for Maddison. It was Sheldon School‘s, Chippenham prom on the 11th May 2017. Molly was wearing an elegant red dress so needed makeup and hair to show it off. I did a braided up do and glamorous makeup. Molly was very lucky she had won a voucher for her makeup which I donate to the school show raffle that was raising money for comic relief.
Madison was wearing a stunning royal blue dress but was not used to wearing makeup. So we did a very natural look. I am sure you will agree she looked beautiful.
I have load more news but I am going to stop here.
