Bridal Makeup, Hair and Photo Shoot
The last couple of weeks have been busy with weddings doing Bridal Makeup and Hair. The photo shoot that we dld with Elizabeth Donovan Photography at Chiseldon House Hotel have been released. I am sure you will agree that they are really beautiful pictures of Francesca. Elizabeth really captured that summer boho look even though the day before had been heavy rain storms and wellies were required because the ground underneath was soggy. I particularly like the third from last photo with the sun coming down through the trees onto Francesca lighting up her hair. It is a lovely record of Caroline and myself working away to achieve the Boho Bridal look, but then Elizabeth had us posing and I got told to smile more!!!!! Not easy when you are concentrating!
On Friday the 20th May 2016 I had the privilege of doing Charlotte’s bridal makeup. I arrived in Colerne at 9 am to a house buzzing with excited women all getting ready for Charlotte big day and her dad the lone man! waiting on them all. She wanted a fairly natural look so I used dark rich browns and champagnes on her eyes with rose pink cheeks and lips. Charlotte had had some beautiful eyelash extensions done, which enhanced the overall look. From Charlotte I then travelled across to the Leigh Park Hotel in Bradford on Avon to apply some special occasion makeup to Charlotte’s new mother in law Helen. Helen was wearing navy so we used soft pink with navy eyeshadow and liner, finishing with rose blush and lips. She even had some false strip lashes applied which was a first. Overall the result was lovely and Helen was pleased as it was another first as she had never had her makeup professionally done.
Saturday 21st May dawned and i was off again to attend Sarah and do her bridal hair. Sarah was getting married at Limpey Stoke Hotel which was up a very steep hill. Sarah was having a side sweep hair style. She had lovely thick long hair so we used heated rollers to get curl and body into it. Sarah’s wedding was based on a comic theme and her bouquet was very unusual, Sarah had made it herself out of comics! So I look forward to seeing some pictures.
