July Is About Beautiful Brides
July is about beautiful Brides! In the middle of wedding season is the month of July, a busy month with a beautiful bride to prepare every weekend. Some weekends it has been two weddings two beautiful brides to style.
I love going to different places meeting lots of new people, looking after my brides hair and makeup. It is a lovely job to be part of someones wedding day, making them feel very special and beautiful. The atmosphere is usually calm, joyfully, bubbling with excitement and bubbly!!!!!
One such wedding was in April when I had the pleasure of applying Kayla and her bridesmaids makeup. Kayla was married at Trowbridge Registry Office and then had her reception at Leigh Park Hotel, Bradford on Avon. Below are a few pictures of the morning.
Back in June I styled Maggie’s hair and makeup for her prom. Maggie went to Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and her prom took place at Grittleton House. Maggie wore a stunning sequinned blue dress, so I used some navy eyeliner and eyeshadow so that her eyes complimented her dress. Her hair was a half up half down style. Some pictures are below:
As well as proms and weddings I also did a couple of makeup workshops at Hazelwood Beauty Salon in Sutton Benger. These workshops were attended by a few of Hazelwoods Client. We looked at foundation, which is the right shade and type of foundation for your skin type. How to apply it flawlessly and create a dewy look which is lovely for summer parties and special occasions. We also learnt how to do eye makeup and make it last. I shared few of my expert tips on makeup throughout the afternoon.
The workshops are fun and a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I can talk about makeup for hours so is was pure joy to be able to share and show some beautiful ladies how to enhance their natural beauty. For more information about workshops and treatments please contact Hazelwood
