Blue bell Ballerina photo shoot
I did something that I had not done before this week. I was invited to assist in a photo shoot. Irene from NeumannGraham Photography contacted me and said she had looked at my website and thought I would be what she was looking for regarding hair and makeup. I was very excited about the opportunity and after exchanging photos and a brief of what Irene wanted, we met with Laura our model last Sunday. Laura as you can see is very beauty and photogenic, so for me is was a reasonable easy task. Laura’s hair was short and fine so I curled it with GHD’s. Irene had bought a flower hair band that would match the bluebell colour. I then curled the back and pinned it over the hairband to cover it up. Laura’s makeup was to be fairly natural but in order to tie in with the bluebell theme and the fact that Laura had lovely blue eyes, we used silvers and greys with a nude pink lip colour and blush.
Irene was lovely to work with, very friendly and warm. She and her husband have a real eye for a good picture. I would highly recommend you take a look at their website where you will find more of their fantastic work.
The photo shoot took place in the lovely setting of Erlestoke woods and at this time of year is a carpet of bluebells. The combination of bluebell woods, a beautiful ballerina, semi photographic makeup, hair and brilliant photography produced some gorgeous, timeless pictures.
