Wedding Makeup Corsham
I have been away so my blog got missed, but am back again. So we have been very busy doing wedding makeup in Corsham, special occasion makeup in Chippenham, a Hair Course with Fordham Hair Design in Stroud, and finally a Makeup Lesson in Chippenham.
Caroline and myself had the privilege of going and doing some wedding makeup in Corsham for Amy and her four bridesmaids. It was a lovely morning and we were set up and ready to start apply makeup by 8.30 am. Amy’s bridesmaids were wearing navy dresses and they had some pink in the bouquets. So to tie in with this colour scheme, we used a subtle pink eyes shadow contoured with some navy blue eyeshadow and liner, teaming this with a rose pink lips. For Amy she was wearing a winter white wedding dress and pearls. So we used a light silver grey and contoured with a darker shade of grey and tying it altogether with flowers and bridesmaids with used a rose pink lipstick. The time flew by and before we knew it, it was 11 am and we were finished ready to let Amy enjoy her day.
That afternoon I applied some special occasion makeup in Chippenham, Amanda was going to a charity ball wearing a gold and black dress and had wanted a very glam look. To achieve this we used golds and bronzes building up the eyes to a dramatic glamorous finish with big lashes. On the lip we used pink and gold.

Caroline and myself also attended another superb training course by Chris Fordham of Fordham Hair Design. This time we were honing our skills in braiding, using hair extensions, using padding and curling with straighteners, wands and rollers. I love attending courses not only do you learn new skills but get to meet other people in the industry and by doing so learning new things from them also.
Later in that week I did a Mum and daughter makeup lesson in Chippenham. This was great we learnt about skin care, different foundations, how they are used and what type of foundation was right for each of their skin types. We learned to apply day makeup and then transform it into and evening or a party look. Both had individual advice for the right look for them. They went home with a face chart so they could practice the new skills they had learnt.
